Good job!
English is a very important language, not only in Brazil, but in the entire world.
ResponderExcluirIt is used as a “universal” language, so if you speak English, you can pretty much travel to almost all countries that are!
I always studied in this school, I think the quality is good .I just studied English in this school, and I think that if the student study just what the school already provides it will be sufficient.
I think for me English is the language that I most use for everything, especially for studying Science subjects over the internet and communicant with people from all over the world.
It is way easier to only speak in English than waiting for someone to speak Portuguese.
Most of well succeeded people have at least a good course of English. If you have an English certificate, you became more attractive for the companies, mainly multinationals. They use this language that’s is talked between many countries to make business. The Universities obligated you to know the basic English to their tests.
ResponderExcluirI’m in contact with English language since I was six or seven years old in a particular school. At regular school maybe since three. Considering my English development, that courses were being good, mainly the particular one, that’s what I do it until right now.
I intend to live in a foreign country that speaks English, so I don’t have to say anything else about the importance of English in my life.

Considering that Brazil is a country not interested in giving your people a second language, have the opportunity to learn, and even be fluent at English is something we can’t ignore.
ResponderExcluirProfessional Opportunities, a better cultural understanding, Networks relationship, facility to travel abroad , speak to people from all over the world, and a lot more of benefits that this second language allow us to have, and be capable to use this skill is a gift in our country, a gift we must not refuse.
Fortunately i have this opportunity, and every time I stop to think how privileged I am, more interested I get in improving this skill and enjoy the best of what my schools have to teach me.
Since I was a child, in Colégio Piracicabo, English have aways been around me in every discipline. Started with the simple question “what’s your name?”, but made me build a base for the future (and this future at that time, is my present today).
Last year, I applied for FCE test ( a Cambridge Exam) and for me, passing on it with a good grade is not just one more goal achieved, but a prove for myself that I’m capable to use this gift that was gave to me.

The importance of english in Brazil is that it’s GREAT for getting jobs and stuff like that, it boosts your career a lot and if you need to move to a country where you must speak english, you are alredy know it, so you will have lesser things to worry about.
ResponderExcluirNow about the quality of the English in schools that I was thought, I only studied in Dom Bosco Cidade Alta and Piracicabano (excluding the schools I studied in
Germany) and the English in Dom Bosco is VERY crappy.
For me English is REALLY very important, because I really want to live out of this country that we call “Brazil”, I want new experiences, I want to get out of the policy crap that Brazil is, so for me, English is really freaking important.
Gustavo G.
English is not really important in Brazil, people don’t really care about it and some people don’t have the opportunity to learn it. But the people who do learn it can have a better opportunity at jobs and enterprises, because most of the international Enterprises, where you get a better payment, look for people who can at least speak English.
ResponderExcluirSome schools in Brazil are bilingual, just like Colégio Piracicabano, but others aren’t and have really crappy English and you have to learn it somewhere else. And sometimes, these other places (like language schools) have really crappy English too. The only school that I studied that I actually had English was Colégio Piracicabano, but Colégio is really good.
English is really important for me because I can learn a new language and also a new culture. It can also give me new opportunities in Brazil and in other countries.
Melissa Cesário
I think English is very important for me in my life, but not only in my life, in this whole country. I started studying English in a school called CNA when I was 5 or 6 years old, but I stopped by the age of 10 to 12 (I don’t remember it properly). Something that really taught me was the internet. I also had English in my old school, Coopep, but it was very basic.
ResponderExcluirEnglish is very important for me, it helps me at the internet, that’s a big part of my life, and I’m sure it will help me even more in the future, when I have a professional life. It’s also very important that the people in Brazil learn English to communicate to other people. English is essential in some professions, and we see a lack of English in many areas here. People need to learn english!
Thiago Z.
English is important because it´s considered a “universal” language. People who are bilingual have more chances to succeed in life. I had a lot of opportunities to learn and use English in my life. I started learning English in a school called Cultura Inglesa when I was about 9 years old. Two years after I went to United States, but I stayed there only for three weeks. After that, when I was 11, I went to Australia to live with my mom. The first six months I was there, I studied in a school that had a special class for foreigners. After that I stayed another six months studding in a normal Australian school. When I came back I went to BH and studied in MAI, where I left the course in FREE 3. This year I came to Piracicaba and here I am studding in Colégio Piracicabano.

The importance of english in Brazil is that we are growing as a country, so we are receiving people from around the world, so English is the key to we communicate to this other people.
ResponderExcluirI study in Piracicabano since as kid, so I were taught english really soon in my life, this have made an large difference in my life, facilitating to me to communicate with other people in games, or even friends of friends of mine. It also helped me to understand some songs and watch some movies without subtitle, cause they traduction in some cases is trash, like the audio.
English is present on a daily basis in my life and I’m so lucky cause I can understand it, influencing my opinion and my ideas.
Guilherme Miguel
English is very important in Brazil, because it helps us to communicate with people from all around the world and it also helps us to understand content that was design for an English speaker audience. For instance, I often use English to understand video games and websites that have no translation to Portuguese. This also helps me a lot on school works that requires searching the internet.
ResponderExcluirUnfortunately, many people in our country can’t understand basic concepts of English. The english on public schools, for example, won’t teach you enough to give you a basic understanding about the English language.
I consider the level of English that was taught to me in my previous school to be only a small extent of what I know today. Since my current school is bilingual, I now feel like I am learning something, even though I learned most of my English outside school.
The importance of the English in Brazil is to can open new doors for can understand other cultures and to can speak with people of other countries who want to visit Brazil, I thought the English schools that only teach English is as important as regular schools and you can earn a certificate saying that you are fluently in English helping you to enter in a college or until help you in a important interview, I don´t know is the because I practically study English in my entire life that I really like to study English for two reasons one is that I appreciate how beautiful is the language and because I have sure that this will be really important at my life
ResponderExcluirOtto Daniel Dias
Actually, being bilingual in Brazil is a really common and important task, though the competition to get a good job to maintain your life and live well. Every enterprise prefers, during picking new employers, choose the one who knows more languages and you may not be in because of that.
ResponderExcluirThe schools that I have studied English in all my life – Dom Bosco Cidade Alta, Colégio Piracicabano and Cultura Inglesa – helped me to achieve the understanding I have now, during an eight-year journey. Except for Dom Bosco Cidade Alta, the two other schools have a great knowledge about the English language.
For me, English is extremely important in doing the homeworks that the school gives and to understand the digital devices that need that language (such as musics and games), but in the future, I think me and everybody will be very proud of what we have learned so well.

And how everyone knows, Brazil don’t care a lot about it, and a lot of brazilians NEED English for doing things online or in their jobs, but some of them don’t know how to speak or understand the language.
ResponderExcluirI studied in many schools, particular and public, but the quality of English was terrible in both, so I decided to learn English by my own.

I use it for everything I do, talk to friends, think, speak, write, buy things… As I said : everything. English runs the world and my life.

English is a language that now more than ever is essential in our lives. To communicate, to get a job, to understand many things in the internet and in our day-by-day. In Brazil like in many other countries English becomes more important every day, we need to prepare our future, so many people start search ways to understand this language.
ResponderExcluirBut a big problem is that many times the only way to learn English is in a privet school, because English as a subject in a regular school is bad, and this is a problem that people should worry.
For me English is important. Since I was a child a love the way witch country has your own way to communicate, your language. So I search the one I like at most, and since I was 8 years old English is an important and big part of my life
Tainá Minuchelli
English is a very important language in the whole world, it is used as ‘’universal’’ language, so wherever you go, if you speak English, you can speak to everyone. Here in Brazil, if you know English, you could have more job opportunities. I study English out of the school and here in Colegio Piracicabano and I think that the classes here, they’re great and I like them a lot and for me the two schools that I study English, they complete each other and my knowledge.

English is the main language in the world and it is necessary to be learned for some determinated situations. English is taught in Brazil as the second main language and it's important to be improved by all the children and adults to help to get jobs and travel around the world. If you are in a different country, you can make friends and learn about their cultures by talking the same language. If it's necessary to work in other countries but you don't speak the local language, you can speak English to communicate and get advantage in your portfolio. Some excellents universities around the world demand students who can talk other language. So a lot of schools acquired the bilingual system to help students in their lives.

The importance of English in Brazil is learning about new cultures and new languages . English is the most important language in the world, is a universal language. Many Brazilians travel to the USA, but the vast majority don`t understand anything because many schools don`t have English as a school matter. Many bring course, only in the afternoon or evening, but many people have no interest in learning. I believe that the English can not just leave her trademark on my curriculum, can help me open doors in my future, and also help me when I need to talk to a foreigner. It`s a great advantage, not only in my personal life, as in my social life too.
