The Solar System

Studying the Solar System is always amazing. Students love the topic, and teachers do too. So why not working this topic in a different way?

After studying a lot about it in class, 6th grade students were asked to build up their own Solar System as part of an Environment Project. Guess what?! They did an amazing job. Check it out!

Preparation Phase - Working in the art room, students painted the polystyrene balls according to the colors of each celestial body studied in class. Each group was responsible for a body (Sun, planets, and dwarf planets).

Presentation Day - At Salão Nobre, students were really nervous, as it was supposed to be. However, they really did an amazing job.

And you, what do you know about the Solar System and outer space?
